Etymology: Gr. n. hals halos, salt; L. adv. num. bis, twice; L. fem. n. forma, form, shape; N.L. fem. n. Halobiforma, the halophile with two different shapes.

Etymology: Gr. n. hals halos, salt; L. adj. terrestris, belonging to the soil; N.L. fem. adj. haloterrestris, pertaining or belonging to a salty soil.
