Ignatzschineria Tóth et al. 2007, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Ignatzschineria larvae (Tóth et al. 2001) Tóth et al. 2007.
Illegitimate synonym: ¤ Schineria Tóth et al. 2001.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Ignatzschineria, in honour of Ignatz Rudolph Schiner, who described the fly Wohlfahrtia magnifica in 1862.
Valid publication: TÓTH (E.M.), BORSODI (A.K.), EUZÉBY (J.P.), TINDALL (B.J.) and MÁRIALIGETI (K.): Proposal to replace the illegitimate genus name Schineria Tóth et al. 2001 with the genus name Ignatzschineria gen. nov. and to replace the illegitimate combination Schineria larvae Tóth et al. 2001 with Ignatzschineria larvae comb. nov. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2007, 57, 179-180.
Original article in IJSEM Online

Note: The name ¤ Schineria Tóth et al. 2001 is illegitimate because of precedence of the genus Schineria Rondani 1857 (Insecta, Tachinidae, Diptera) [Principle 2, Rule 51b(4)]. Consequently, a new genus designation Ignatzschineria has been proposed by Tóth et al. 2007.
