Type species: ¤ Olleya marilimosa Mancuso Nichols et al. 2005.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Olleya, named in honour of June Olley, who has made significant contributions to the area of predictive microbiology.

Olleya namhaensis Lee et al. 2013, sp. nov.
Type strain: (see also Global Catalogue of Microorganisms) WT-MY15 = CCUG 61507 = KCTC 23673.

Etymology: N.L. fem. adj. namhaensis, of or belonging to Namhae, the Korean name for the South Sea in Korea, from where the type strain was isolated.
