Etymology: O.ce.a.ni.o.va.li.bus. Gr. masc. n. Ôkeanos, ocean; N.L. masc. adj. ovalibus, oval [incorrectly formed: is L. dat. common pl. adj. of ovalis, should have been: ovatus]; N.L. masc. n. Oceaniovalibus, an oceanic oval [probably better: Oceaniovatus]
