Onodrimia, genus name derived from the name Onodrim, which is an Elvish name for the giant tree-like beings, also known as Ents, who appeared in the unforgettable epic story of The Lord of the Rings written by John R. R. Tolkien (the branching filaments of Onodrimia resembles tree branches)
