Genus Pinocchia
Name: Pinocchia Dvořák et al. 2015
Etymology: Pi.noc’chi.a. N.L. fem. n. Pinocchia, The genus name refers to the elongated cells, especially to terminal cells. Pinocchio is a popular character from a fairy tale from Italy (by Carlo Collodi), who had longer nose when telling lies.
