  • 🧍 Colwellia was demonstrated in the analysis be Liu et al. (2020) to not be monophyletic. However, this was only caused by the placement of Litorilituus, which made Colwellia paraphyletic. This genus could have been included in Colwellia, which would have been the more conservative solution than proposing two new genera.
