🧍 Inappropriate spelling correction of Thioalkalicoccus. The original spelling of the name, Thioalkalicoccus (sic), was corrected by the List Editor of the IJSEM to Thialkalicoccus (IJSEM 51:267). This correction was withdrawn following a decision of the Judicial Commission of the International Committee on Systematics of Prokaryotes at the Xth International (IUMS) Congress of Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology 2002, Paris (See IJSEM 55:527, Session 2, Minute 13). — 🧍 Nom. corrig.: Thioalkalicoccus (sic); IJSEM 51:267.
