🧍 Nitrosomonadales Garrity et al. 2006 is illegitimate because it contravenes to Rule 51b(1) as its original description includes the family Spirillaceae Migula 1894 (Approved Lists 1980) and therefore the type genus of that family, Spirillum Ehrenberg 1832 (Approved Lists 1980), which is also the type genus of Spirillales Prévot 1940 (Approved Lists 1980), which should have been adopted instead of proposing a new name of an order.Publication:
