- 🧍 Pseudomonas oleovorans is isolated from oil-water emulsions used as lubricants and cooling agents in the cutting and grinding of metals. Apparently the organism lives on some normal constituent of the cutting compound, probably the naphthenic acids, which act as emulsifying agents.
