The name "Cellulomonas cartalyticum" Carta 1973 was in a patent and hence was neither effectively published nor validly published [Rule 25b (5)]. Therefore, this nomenclatural name cannot be revived (Rule 28a) and the citation of Cellulomonas cartae cannot mention the original author. Publication: Carta GR.
