🧍 The level of similarity between the 16S rRNA sequence of the strain KS0921 G.L. Gilardi 4239 IAM 13000 JCM 3352 [the type strain of the species Chryseomonas luteola (Kodama et al. 1985) Holmes et al. 1987] and the 16S rRNA of the strain DSM 50071 ATCC 10145 [the type strain of the species Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Schroeter 1872) Migula 1900 (Approved Lists 1980)] is 94.0%. This result suggests that Chryseomonas Holmes et al. 1986 emend. Holmes et al. 1987 is a later synonym of Pseudomonas Migula 1894 (Approved Lists 1980), and that the name Pseudomonas luteola should be used for this species.Publication:
