Etymology: sar.ta.go.for.me. L. fem. n. sartago, frying pan; L. neut. adj. suff. -forme, of the shape of; N.L. neut. adj. sartagoforme, intended to mean shaped like a frying pan (in reference to a sporulating cell) [probably better: sartaginiforme]
