🧍 Deleya aesta (Baumann et al. 1972) Baumann et al. 1983, Alcaligenes aquamarinus (ZoBell and Upham 1944) Hendrie et al. 1974 (Approved Lists 1980) and Alcaligenes faecalis subsp. homari Austin et al. 1981 are members of a single species of the genus Deleya Baumann et al. 1983. Akagawa and Yamasato 1989 invoked Rules 23a and 51b of the Bacteriological Code (1976 Revision) and came to the conclusion that the oldest synonym within these three species was Alcaligenes aquamarinus, and, therefore, proposed that the combination Deleya aquamarina be created, and that Deleya aesta be a synonym of Deleya aquamarina.Publication:
