🧍 On the basis of phylogenetic (analysis of 16S rDNA sequences and analysis of 16S-23S gene spacers), chemotaxonomic, and phenotypic evidence, Zhang et al. 1997 propose that the genus Kitasatospora corrig. Ōmura et al. 1983 be either a sister taxon of the genus Streptomyces or a lineage that originated fom within Streptomyces species. — 🧍 The original spelling, Kitasatosporia (sic) has been corrected by Zhang et al. 1997.Publication:
