Name: Palaeolyngbya kerpii Krings 2019
Etymology: ker’pi.i. N.L. gen. masc. n. kerpii, The epithet is proposed in honor of Prof. Dr. Hans Kerp of Münster, Germany, for his important contributions to our understanding of Rhynie chert land plants and microorganisms.
