Name: Palaeoscytonema moorhousei Edhorn 1973
Etymology: moor.hou’se.i. N.L. gen. masc. n. moorhousei, The specific epithet is given in honour of the late Dr. W. W. Moorhouse, professor of Precambrian geology at the University of Toronto, Ontario Canada. He was one of the pioneers of Canadian Precambrian fossil studies.
