🧍 The description of "Candidatus Phytoplasma fraxini" was discussed by the Subcommittee on the taxonomy of mollicutes [1] because the name has been assigned to a group of strains which, according to their 16S rRNA gene sequences, are not identical and a type strain has been identified to represent the group.
