Name: Pseudanabaena vesniana Aleksovski and Krstić 2025
Etymology: ves.ni.a’na. N.L. fem. adj. vesniana, in loving memory of our beloved, dear Vesna Aleksovska (1960-2021), who contributed to the formation of the NMCCC collection and unconditionally supported the scientific work of the first author (B. Aleksovski). She lost the fight against COVID-19 during the pandemic on 9.11.2021. Gone, yet not forgotten
