Name: Pseudomonas caspiana Busquets et al. 2017
Etymology: cas.pi.a’na. N.L. fem. adj. caspiana, belonging to the Caspian region, referring to the fact that the strains studied of this species were isolated in the Caspian sea region at the cities of Chalus, Babol, Bandar Gaz and Nashtaroud in the Iranian provinces of Mazandaran and Golestan
