🧍 The basonym Rhizomonas suberifaciens van Bruggen et al. 1990 is not in accordance with the rules of the ICNP because it is placed in a genus whose name is not in accordance with the rules of the ICNP (see: Rhizomonas). However, according to Rule 32b, the specific epithet (suberifaciens) is in accordance with the rules of the ICNP. So, the combination Sphingomonas suberifaciens is a correct name and must be used as long as it is the single legitimate, validly published name.
