Etymology: kop.pen.hoe’fe.ri. N.L. gen. masc. n. koppenhoeferi, of Koppenhöfer, in honour of A. Koppenhöfer, who has contributed to the systematics of the nematode host, Steinernema scarabaei (Stock and Koppenhöfer 2003)
