😷 The risk group for Canada has been imported on 2024-02-27. The full classification is: risk group = 1, note = "Animal classification RG: 1 - Security sensitive biological agent: No - Terrestrial animal pathogen under Canadian Food Inspection Agency authority: No - Containment level: Containment Level 1 - Considerations for containment: This biological agent is capable of causing human and/or animal disease, but is unlikely to do so. Although it poses a low risk to the health of individuals or animals, and a low risk to public health or animal populations, this biological agent may cause opportunistic infections and may pose a threat to immunocompromised individuals or animals, or those with predisposing factors. Refer to the Canadian Biosafety Guideline on Containment Level 1: Physical Design and Operational Practices for recommended best practices for basic laboratory design and the safe handling of risk group 1 biological materials.". — The risk group for Swiss Confederation has been imported on 2024-02-01. 🧍 The level of similarity between the 16S rRNA sequence of the strain KS0036 L-1 AJ 2197 IAM 1568 JCM 2952 (the type strain of the species Pseudomonas oryzihabitans Kodama et al. 1985) and the 16S rRNA of the strain DSM 50071 ATCC 10145 [the type strain of the species Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Schroeter 1872) Migula 1900 (Approved Lists 1980)] is 93.9%. This result suggests that Flavimonas Holmes et al. 1987 is a later synonym of Pseudomonas Migula 1894 (Approved Lists 1980) and that the name Pseudomonas oryzihabitans should be used for this species.Publication:
