🧍 Although the number DSM 9535 appears in the effective publication, no type strain is designated in the paper by Duffaud et al. 1998. However, the strain DSM 9535 does not appear on the DSMZ website and would appear not to be available from the publicly accessible section of that collection. With the kind permission of Professor Robert M. Kelly, Dr. Elena Pikuta deposited the strain SHCK-94 (here designated as the type strain) in the ATCC (ATCC BAA-1085) and the JCM (JCM 12858), and provided documentation confirming deposit in these collections.
