Subspecies and species names using Group C adjectives

Epithets of species or subspecies can be formed from simple or compound Latin or Neolatin adjectives [Rule 12c (1), Rule 13b]. Group C adjectives are of Greek origin and declined in an unusual way. Their ending is the same for all genders. In the case of a new combination these epithets must not be adapted to the gender of the genus name.
