Name: "Brasilonema burkei" Miscoe et al. 2016
Etymology: N.L. gen. masc. n. burkei, Named in honor of David J. Burke. who is a well respected soil microbiologist and, molecular ecologist. He introduced us to new DNA extraction methods that yielded successful PCR products and sequence data obtained for this study.
