Name: Myxacorys almedinensis Soares et al. 2019
Etymology: al.me.din.en’sis. N.L. fem. adj. almedinensis, The species name was based on the former parish name where the Old Cathedral of Coimbra is located (Almedina), under the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature.
