Species Nostoc borzioides
Name: Nostoc borzioides Skinner and Entwisle 2002
Etymology: N.L. adj. borzioides, The species epithet is from Borzia, a genus in the Oscillatoriales to which the short trichomes of this species of Nostoc can be compared, especially when heterocytes are absent or rare.
