Micromonosporahalophytica subsp. halophytica is the correct name if this subspecies is regarded as a separate subspecies (i.e., if its nomenclatural type is not assigned to another subspecies whose name is validly published, legitimate and not rejected and has priority) within a separate species Micromonosporahalophytica within a separate genus Micromonospora.
If an author accepts the elevation of Micromonospora halophytica subsp. nigra Weinstein et al. 1968 (Approved Lists 1980) to full species status, then Micromonospora halophytica subsp. halophytica Weinstein et al. 1968 (Approved Lists 1980) should thereafter be designated simply as Micromonospora halophytica Weinstein et al. 1968 (Approved Lists 1980).Publication:
