Etymology: N.L. neut. n. Hungateiclostridium, a bacterial genus name; N.L. suff. -aceae, ending designating a family name; N.L. fem. pl. n. Hungateiclostridiaceae a bacterial family named after the type genus Hungateiclostridium.
