Ichthyobacterium Takano et al. 2016, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Ichthyobacterium seriolicida Takano et al. 2016.
Etymology: Gr. n. ichthys, fish; L. neut. n. bacterium rod or staff; N.L. neut. n. Ichthyobacterium, fish bacterium, because the organism was first isolated from a fish.
