Etymology: N.L. n. jeotgalum (from Korean n. jeotgal) jeotgal, traditional Korean food; L. fem. n. baca, a grain or berry, and in bacteriology a coccus; N.L. fem. n. Jeotgalibaca, coccus from jeotgal.
