Oharaeibacter Lv et al. 2017, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Oharaeibacter diazotrophicus Lv et al. 2017.
Etymology: N.L. masc. n. bacter (from Gr. n. bakterion), a rod-shaped bacterium; N.L. masc. n. Oharaeibacter, referring to Magosaburō Ōhara (1880–1943), a Japanese entrepreneur and philanthropist, in recognition of his promotion of welfare for farmers and agriculture, and foundation of the Ohara Institute for Agriculture (present Institute of Plant Science and Resources, Okayama University) in Japan.
