Oryzomicrobium terrae Liu et al. 2017, sp. nov. (Type species of the genus.)
Type strain: (see also Global Catalogue of Microorganisms) TPP412=BCRC 80905=JCM 30814.
Sequence accession no. (16S rRNA gene) for the type strain: KR296798.
Etymology: L. gen. n. terrae, of the earth, reflecting the fact that the type strain was isolated from paddy soil.
