Type species: ¤ Puzihella rosea Sheu et al. 2017.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Puzihella, named after the River Puzih in Chiayi County, Taiwan, the river where the type strain of the type species was isolated.

Etymology: L. fem. adj. rosea, rose-coloured or rosy, referring to the pinkish colour of the colonies.
