Type species: ¤ Silvanigrella aquatica Hahn et al. 2017.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Silvanigrella, named after Silva nigra, the Latin geographic name of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) mountains located in the south-west of Germany.
