Etymology: Hwang.hae.el’la. Korean n. Hwanghae, the Korean name of the Yellow Sea in Korea; L. fem. dim. n. suff. -ella, diminutive ending; N.L. fem. dim. n. Hwanghaeella, arbitrary name for a bacterium found in marine water of Hwanghae, in which the first strain of the genus was isolated
