Name: Microcoleus acremaniae corrig. Casamatta and Johansen 2005
Etymology: a.cre.ma’ni.ae. N.L. gen. fem. n. acremaniae, Named for Judy Acreman, who isolated this strain, maintains the UTCC collection, and was helpful throughout this study.
