🧍 In the September 2002 issue of the IJSEM, Yabuuchi et al. propose that the species of the genus Novosphingobium are later synonyms of species of the genus Sphingomonas. Of course, Novosphingobium hassiacum, effectively and validly published in 2002, was not taken into account by Yabuuchi et al.
