🧍 The name Reichenbachia agariperforans is illegitimate because Reichenbachia Nedashkovskaya et al. 2003 is a later homonym of Reichenbachia Sprengel 1823 (a plant belonging to the family Nyctaginaceae) and a later homonym of Reichenbachia Leach 1826 (an insect belonging to the family Staphylinidae). Consequently, a new species designation Reichenbachiella agariperforans, has been by Nedashkovskaya et al. 2005.Publication:
