Note: The type order "Archaeoglobales" Stetter 1989 does not appear on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names, and was not validly published when Cavalier-Smith proposed the class Archaeoglobea (January 14, 2002). The order ¤ Archaeoglobales Huber and Stetter 2002 (previously known as "Archaeoglobales" Stetter 1989) was validly published in the May 2002 issue of the IJSEM (Validation List no. 85). Consequently, Archaeoglobea Cavalier-Smith 2002 is illegitimate.
