Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Elioraea, named in honour of Israeli microbiologist Eliora Z. Ron.

Etymology: L. adj. tepidus, warm; N.L. adj. philus -a -um (from Gr. adj. philos -ê -on), friend, loving; N.L. fem. adj. tepidiphila, loving warmth.
