Euzebya Kurahashi et al. 2010, gen. nov. (Type genus of the order ¤ Euzebyales Kurahashi et al. 2010, type genus of the family ¤ Euzebyaceae Kurahashi et al. 2010).
Type species: ¤ Euzebya tangerina Kurahashi et al. 2010.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Euzebya, named for Jean Paul Marie Euzéby, a French microbiologist who has contributed significantly to microbial systematics, including the Latinization of microbial names.
