Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. grahamella, named in honor of G.S. Graham-Smith who observed the organisms subsequently named Grahamella in the blood of moles.

According to Rule 37a, bacteriologists adhering to this proposal must change the name Grahamella to ¤ Bartonella.
