Jiangellaceae Tang et al. 2011, fam. nov.
Type genus: ¤ Jiangella Song et al. 2005.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Jiangella, type genus of the family; suff. -aceae, ending to denote a family; N.L. fem. pl. n. Jiangellaceae, the family of the genus Jiangella.
Valid publication: TANG (S.K.), ZHI (X.Y.), WANG (Y.), SHI (R.), LOU (K.), XU (L.H.) and LI (W.J.): Haloactinopolyspora alba gen. nov., sp. nov., a halophilic filamentous actinomycete isolated from a salt lake, with proposal of Jiangellaceae fam. nov. and Jiangellineae subord. nov. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2011, 61, 194-200.
