Type species: ¤ Kinneretia asaccharophila Gomila et al. 2010.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Kinneretia, named after Kinneret Lake, where the type strain of the type species was isolated.
Valid publication: GOMILA (M.), PINHASSI (J.), FALSEN (E.), MOORE (E.R.B.) and LALUCAT (J.): Kinneretia asaccharophila gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from a freshwater lake, a member of the Rubrivivax branch of the family Comamonadaceae. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2010, 60, 809-814.
