Type species: ¤ Luteipulveratus mongoliensis Ara et al. 2010.
Etymology: L. adj. luteus, yellow; L. part. adj. pulveratus, scattered with dust; N.L. masc. n. (N.L. masc. adj. used as a substantive) Luteipulveratus, a bacterium forming white powdery aerial mycelium on yellow colonies.
