Natroniella Zhilina et al. 1996, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Natroniella acetigena.
Etymology: N.L. n. natron (arbitrarily derived from the Arabic n. natrun or natron) soda, sodium carbonate; L. fem. n. Natroniella, organism growing in soda deposits.
