Etymology: L. masc. n. oceanus, the ocean; L. masc. n. bulbus, a bulb, an onion; N.L. masc. n. Oceanibulbus, onion-like bacterium from the sea.

Etymology: N.L. neut. n. indolum, indole; L. suffixe -fex from L. v. facio ere, to make; N.L. masc. adj. indolifex, making indole, the indole maker.
