Etymology: N.L. n. Primorsky -yos, Primorsky Kray, a Far-Eastern region of the Russian Federation, where the first strains were isolated; N.L. masc. n. bacter, rod; N.L. masc. n. Primorskyibacter, rod isolated from Primorsky Kray.
